RSS Feeds for Blog

To keep up to date on blog postings, you can do an RSS feed to either your web browser or your gmail account, etc. Some of you may also embed them into your own websites or blogs.

Briefly, this is how to setup a RSS feed on a Firefox browser. I don't use Internet Explorer, but it should be fairly similar to the Firefox method.

1) go to http://solardminnesota.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
2) add the page to your bookmarks folder titled "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder"
3) only add to THIS FOLDER. other bookmark folders are accessed through the bookmarks menu, but the specific folder above adds a link to your toolbar that you can click, and it will expand a menu of post titles that you can click and it will take you to the specific post.
4) Under View>Toolbars you must have the bookmarks toolbar selected to view the links.

The result should look like this:

Another option is to go to the link above and hit "subscribe now" to get the feed to your gmail account.

There are other options, but I do not want to make this into an RSS tutorial. Try looking up RSS feeds on the web to see other options, such as embedding into other sites, etc.

Solar D buzz in Minnesota

Hey all
I came across this this morning as I was reading some things about the competition. Anyone familiar with any communities affiliated with the Science Museum?
